Water Leak in a Maumelle Bathroom

Plumbing leaks often occur where there is a concentration of pipes, joints, and fixtures--the bathroom. This Maumelle property carpet was soaked from the not contaminated water causing only damage to the carpet. When a homeowner calls us immediately, our SERVPRO crew can respond just as fast, to extract the water and moisture from the flooring fibers and padding. We suggest to our customers to not install carpet in a wet and damp area, not only to prevent this type of water damage, but also to hopefully keep mold from developing. Our SERVPRO tech can use an industrial grade vacuum with a special agitating wand to pull the water from the fibers. A small dehumidifier, no removed in the After Photo, plucked any remaining water vapor and dampness from this enclosed space. "Like it never even happened."
